This Privacy Policy describes how Blence ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Blence mobile application for iOS ("App").
Information we collect
- Face photos you provide for face swap are processed to generate your results. Core swap workflows are designed to run on your device. Face data used for on-device processing is not retained on our servers after composition.
- Photos and videos you select from your photo library or camera solely to provide face swap features. We do not access your library beyond what you explicitly choose.
- Device and usage information such as device model, iOS version, app version, language, and anonymized analytics events to improve stability and features.
- Account and purchase data when you sign in or make in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled by Apple; we receive transaction identifiers and subscription status to deliver your entitlements, not your full payment card details.
- Support communications when you contact us, including the content of your message and your email address if you provide one.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve face swap features, templates, and premium entitlements
- Process subscriptions and in-app purchases through Apple
- Restore purchases and sync your account across sessions
- Respond to support requests
- Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations
- Comply with legal obligations
On-device processing
Blence is designed so that core face swap processing occurs on your device whenever possible. Face images used for on-device composition are not uploaded to our servers for those workflows. Some optional features (such as cloud-backed templates or account sync) may require limited server interaction; those flows are disclosed in-app where applicable.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in app operations (hosting, analytics, customer support) under strict confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. Apple processes payments independently under its own privacy policy.
Data retention & deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of account-associated data by contacting us at support@blence.app. Deleting the App from your device removes locally stored data under your control.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Your responsibilities
You must only upload photos and videos you have the right to use. Do not useBlence to create content that infringes portrait rights, impersonates others without consent, or violates applicable laws.
Children
Blence is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
