This Privacy Policy describes how Blence ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application and website.
On-device media processing
The core face detection, alignment, and blending workflow runs on your Android device. Photos and videos you select from your device are not uploaded to a remote face-swap generator to create the result. Template files may be downloaded to your device before processing. Results remain on your device unless you choose to save or share them through another app.
Information we collect
- Account information, including a service-generated user ID and, when you choose to link an account, information supplied by Google or Facebook such as your account identifier, display name, email address, and profile image URL.
- Device, app, and network information, including device and app identifiers, advertising or app-set identifiers where available, device model, operating-system and app version, language, country, time zone, IP-derived location, install-referrer information, and diagnostic data.
- Usage and performance events, such as pages viewed, feature and template identifiers, media type, processing duration, success or error state, subscription status, and credit balance or usage. These events do not include the photo or video content selected for the core face-swap workflow.
- Purchase and subscription information, including product, amount, currency, order status, billing-provider identifiers, and the credits or access assigned to your account. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider presented at checkout and are not stored by Blence.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve face swap features and templates
- Operate accounts, credits, subscriptions, and purchases
- Respond to support requests
- Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations
- Comply with legal obligations
Service providers and data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers for hosting and account data, payment processing, content delivery, advertising, diagnostics, analytics, and attribution. These include Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics), Mixpanel, Tenjin, advertising providers, sign-in providers, and the billing provider shown at checkout. They process information under their own privacy terms and our service arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Retention and deletion
Local photos, videos, saved faces, and generated results remain under your device storage controls. Account, credit, subscription, purchase, support, security, and analytics records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. See our data deletion page for request instructions. Some billing, security, or aggregated records may be retained where legally required or no longer reasonably linked to you.
Your responsibilities
You must only upload photos and videos you have the right to use. Do not useBlence to create content that infringes portrait rights, impersonates others without consent, or violates applicable laws.
Children
Blence is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Blence after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
