Blence Usage Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Blence is designed for lawful creative and entertainment use. Face-swap technology can affect a person's privacy, reputation, safety, and rights. You are responsible for the media you use and the content you create, save, or share.

Consent and rights

You may only use media when you have the legal right and appropriate permission to do so.

  • Obtain consent from identifiable people whose faces or likenesses you use
  • Respect portrait, privacy, copyright, trademark, and publicity rights
  • Honor requests to remove or stop distributing content involving another person
  • Do not imply that a person participated in or endorsed content when they did not

Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use Blence to create, facilitate, publish, or distribute:

  • Pornographic, nude, or sexually explicit deepfakes, including nudification
  • Any sexual or exploitative content involving a minor
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualized depictions of another person
  • Fraud, scams, identity theft, deceptive impersonation, or fabricated evidence
  • Defamation, harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, blackmail, or extortion
  • Content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or illegal activity
  • Misleading civic, election, emergency, medical, or financial content presented as authentic
  • Content that violates another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights

Public figures, movie scenes, and templates

A movie-inspired, character, or celebrity-style template is provided for transformative entertainment. Its availability does not grant permission to impersonate a person, claim their endorsement, deceive an audience, or use protected material unlawfully. Satire and parody should be clearly recognizable in context.

Disclosure when sharing

When a reasonable viewer could mistake an output for a real event or authentic media, clearly disclose that it was edited or AI-generated. Do not remove disclosures for the purpose of deceiving others.

Enforcement

We may restrict access, remove associated hosted content, preserve relevant records, or cooperate with lawful requests when we reasonably believe this policy has been violated. Local processing does not remove your responsibility to comply with this policy and the law.

Report misuse

To report harmful or unauthorized content involving Blence, email support@blence.app. Include the relevant URL or file, an explanation of the issue, and information showing your relationship to the content.
